Perhaps it was explained somewhere but i didn't find it.
What about compatibility with other map mods (e.g. Promods Canada, Coast to Coast, Reforma to name the most important ones),if using Coast to Coast placed above no Ferry connections, if placed below crash.
If no further map mods ferry connections but not able to see it in the world map to e.g. make navigation. What i have seen from Havanna was very promising, but i think it is important to be compatible with other major map mods, especially when dealing with different areas (no to nearly no overlap)
